Arcana Hibernia presents: Relax With Doctor Dee (MD)
As part of their ‘Program for the Betterment of all Humankind’, the Hyper-Research Institute of Ireland (HRII) produced this guided meditation including a ‘vision-quest’ to enable the individual to be informed by their own higher nature, providing them with whatever help or advice they might need at that time. As the ‘science’ arm of the Hermetic Order of Christ, the HRII operated under their ‘ahistorical’ practice of non-documentation and giving no personal credit for any work done. The motivating idea was that it is irrelevant when any wisdom appears in the world or who might happen to be the author.
In keeping with these ideas, the name Doctor Dee is almost certainly a pseudonym and may well be name checking the noted Elizabethan mystic Doctor John Dee who transcribed long-lost coded magical secrets from the apocryphal Book of Enoch, with the help of itinerant mediums. Some researchers have suggested that making reference to Dee and his work may be subliminally inviting the users of this recording to become part of the project themselves and possibly have the ‘Enochian Key’ that will decode those secrets revealed to them while under the influence. An invitation to share any experiences was included in the original package.
Although the original issue date is unknown the Arcana Hibernia reissue dates from circa 2014 as a limited edition CD without any information, in the spirit of the institutions that created the work.
